Membership

Our association is open to any person or family who habitually speaks fluent French at home. This means that membership mainly consists of the francophone community. However, we are keen to include non-native French speakers as we should also like them to get to know all about our language and culture. We form a community with a common interest (we are a French-speaking community) and we are of the opinion that our association can be of benefit to any Francophone or Francophile.

When you become a member of the Franglophones, you will be able to participate in all our activities and you can be included in our emailing list to receive news about the French-speaking community in our region.

Membership entails paying an annual subscription of £7 per family to cover the association’s insurance costs. The membership application form (which can be completed online) also has to be returned to us at our association’s registered address (see under Contact Us), together with your authorisation for you and your children to be photographed. Cheques should be made out to ‘Les Franglophones’.
